Be sure to order "The Gaines" latte — our signature drink — and grab a slice of quiche or a local beer while you’re there. It’s the perfect spot to hang out, sip something good, and soak up a little Longview charm.

If you know, you know. Mi Casita is the definition of a hole-in-the-wall gem, nothing fancy, just the BEST breakfast tacos you’ll ever have. It’s a local favorite and totally worth waking up early for. Grab a couple tacos, some chips&salsa, and you’ll understand why we love this place so much.
Wild Honey Creamery
Wild Honey is the one and only ice cream spot in Longview! Everything is made right here in town, and it’s conveniently located downtown next to Ella's family’s coffee shop. You have to try their best flavor—Silver Grizzly’s Iced Latte.

If you’re looking for a great lunch while you’re in town, you’ve gotta check out Jack’s Natural Foods! Their sandwiches, salads, and smoothies are honestly the best.
Bodacious BBQ on Mobberly
For true Texas barbecue, head to Bodacious BBQ on Mobberly. It’s been named the best BBQ spot in Texas by Texas Monthly, and people travel from all over just to eat here. Make sure you go to the one on Mobberly, it has the best pit master in town. Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 11am - 6pm or sellout

If you want the true East Texas experience, Country Tavern is it! Think great margaritas, delicious ribs, and all the laid-back honky-tonk vibes. It’s about a 20-minute drive, but totally worth it for a local yee-haw experience!

If you’re in town on Sunday, this is your go-to spot! Greenside teams up with Ki Mexico Soul Food to serve up an incredible brunch alongside a great selection of wine and beer. It’s one of the few places open on Sundays, so it’s perfect for a chill meal with amazing food and drinks.
