Our story began back in high school. We first crossed paths one summer at Isle of Palms while hanging out with friends, not realizing that our paths would cross again in a much bigger way. A year later, during our sophomore year, we spent the day with friends at a rope swing — and that’s when something clicked. What started as a carefree afternoon turned into the beginning of something truly special. We grew up together through all of life’s stages — graduations, new jobs, and every milestone in between. Whether it was long drives, boat days, or quiet nights at home, we always found joy just being together. After years of shared memories and adventures, Connor proposed on a quiet little stretch of beach off a path on Daniel Island.It was simple, beautiful, and a memory that we will cherish forever. Now, we can’t wait to begin the next chapter surrounded by all the people who have loved and supported us from the start. We’re so excited to begin our next chapter in a place that means the world to us — my grandparents’ home. It’s a place filled with countless memories from growing up, and over the years, it’s become just as special to Connor too. What makes it even more meaningful is that we’ll be getting married on the same day that my great-grandparents, grandparents, and uncle all said “I do.” Being the fourth generation to continue that tradition is something we’ll cherish forever.
