When should I RSVP by?

We kindly request an RSVP by March 27, 2026.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are currently registered with Amazon and Target. You can access these under the "Registry" tab on this website. You will also see a Zola "First Home Fund :)" account under the "Registry" tab. We are currently saving for a down payment on a house in Bloomington. We are hoping to purchase the home late spring/summer 2026. Any contribution to our house fund for down payment or house furnishings would be greatly appreciated.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at the Hesed House Venue at 4:00 p.m. We recommend arriving to the venue no later than 3:30 p.m.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Plus ones will be noted on your wedding invitation very clearly. We have a guest limit at this venue space, so unfortunately we were not able to accommodate plus ones for everyone. If your wedding invitation is addressed to only you, we respectfully ask that you do not bring a date.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to make our day adults-only. We hope you can join us for an evening of relaxation and celebration!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We currently have room blocks at the Hyatt Place Bloomington/Normal and the Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel & Conference Center. You can access the links for these room blocks under the "Travel" tab on this website. If these hotels do not fit your needs, please feel free to look elsewhere in the Bloomington/Normal area.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! You will be asked about any food allergies while completing your RSVP. Please note any food allergies there and we will reach out to you with more information.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot at the venue. The ceremony and reception are both at The Hesed House, so you can park your car there for the night!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will have a shuttle service taking guests from the Hyatt Place Bloomington/Normal and Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel & Conference Center to the venue. Pick-up will be at 3:00 p.m. from the Marriott. We will also have the shuttle running throughout the night to take guests back to these hotels. Pick-up from the venue to travel back to the hotels will be at 8:00, 9:00, and 10:30 p.m. The venue is a 24 minute drive from the hotels in Uptown. Everyone is invited for an after-party of bar hopping in Uptown Normal after the wedding ends!
