Roosevelt Row is the city's art district. There are plenty of murals, photo ops, restaurants, and bars along Roosevelt Street.
Heard Museum

The Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix
"The Japanese Friendship Garden is a Japanese stroll garden. It encompasses 3.5 acres and includes a tea garden and tea house. It is a joint project of the sister cities of Phoenix, Arizona, and Himeji, Japan. The Japanese name is Rohō-en.
Papago Park
Papago park is in near vicinity with both the Desert Botanical Gardens and the Phoenix Zoo. It has desert scenery, and a great view of the city if you make the short hike up to the Hole in the Rock.
Camelback Mountain
A city landmark, Camelback Mountain is a camel shaped mountain in the middle of the valley. Weather will be hot in June, but if you're willing to get up early, it's a fun hike with a great view of the city at the top. There are two trails; Echo Canyon trail is shorter and more challenging, whereas Cholla trail is slightly longer and easier.

Stop by old town Scottsdale for a taste of the wild west. There are restaurants, shopping, boot stores, and more! Stop by the Rusty Spur to grab a drink.
