Our Story

This is the couple's first photo together from seventh grade! They were middle school "boyfriend and girlfriend," but nothing serious yet. They definitely had big fat crushes on each other though!

This was their first dance together in eighth grade; however, they weren't even dating yet. They just knew they wanted to go with each other.

Still not dating...Ella and Charles just decided to go to the movies together in ninth grade. They were "friends" for a long time...neither one of them wanted to admit they had a crush.

This is Charles's 16th birthday dinner. He asked Ella out, but she said no because she didn't want their anniversary to be on his birthday. Two days later, he asked again, and they made it official.

This photo was taken on June 13, 2020, exactly five years before Ella and Charles got engaged. They played putt-putt to celebrate their six-month anniversary.

This was around the couple's first anniversary. They went on a ski trip with the Methodist church youth group to celebrate!

This was during junior year, when Ella and Charles went to their first high school dance together. Their friends, who were seniors at the time, hosted an off-campus homecoming because of COVID.

This was the couple's first real dance together, junior prom. This is Charles's all-time favorite photo of him and Ella.

This was at the Torch's Beach Retreat, right after the couple got baptized! Jesus is just the best.

This was the first of many themed football nights that the couple spent together. They went ALL OUT for every single football game theme. GO RAIDERS!!!

During senior year, Ella and Charles went to the Passion Conference. This was such a pivotal moment in their faith.

This was the couple's senior prom and their last high school dance together.

They GRADUATED!!!!

This photo was taken at the couple's first Vandy football game during their freshman year. It marked the beginning of their long distance journey, and the first time Charles visited Ella in Nashville.

This is the couple's first college dance together for Ella's sorority.

This is the couple's first halloween party at Charles's fraternity, KA, during their sophomore year.

Ella and Charles travelled to New Orleans, LA, for KA semi formal.

This is Ella and Charles's first internaional trip together! This photo was taken at the Matterhorn. They went to Switzerland with their high school friends.

A few months later, Ella and Charles studied abroad. Charles was in Metz, France, while Ella was in Florence, Italy. They would travel together on the weekends. Here they are in Paris, France!

After four months abroad, the couple returned home and headed to Panama City for Charles's fraternity beach formal.

On June 13, 2025, THEY GOT ENGAGED!!!!!
