Where and when do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP here on our website under the RSVP tab no later than August 17th. No need to send in a paper RSVP.

How do I get to your wedding?

Answer

Plane, train, hot air balloon, motorbike, car, horseback are all viable options. However, we recommend that you take a cab. You can also take the CTA Green Line or Metra UP-W Line to Oak Park and walk 10-15 minutes to the venue. You can also take the CTA Blue Line to Oak Park and walk 30 minutes. There are numerous CTA and PACE bus routes that can also bring you near the venue. Please reach out directly if you'd like additional bus details.

Is parking available?

Answer

There is easy street parking with no fees all around the venue. If you do plan on driving, please limit the number or abstain from drinking alcoholic beverages throughout the course of the evening.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour and dancing will take place outdoors. Dinner and speeches will be held inside.

What do I wear?

Answer

The suggested attire for the evening is formal. A dark colored suit and tie, elegant jumpsuit, ankle length dress or elevated cocktail length dress would all be appropriate options. Since the ceremony will be on the lawn, we recommend flat or block heeled shoes. It would be wise to bring a shawl or coat given the season.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

There is no hotel block as there are hundreds of excellent lodging options in Chicago. There is one hotel very close to our venue called The Carleton as well as numerous Airbnbs.

Where can I smoke or vape at your wedding?

Answer

There is absolutely no smoking or vaping on the property. You can exit the front gate to smoke or vape right outside of the property.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to a variety of factors, we will not be including plus ones in our wedding celebration. All invitations should have the attendee(s) name(s) listed that are invited.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love your children, due to a number of reasons, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding!

What's the food and drink situation? Can you accomodate my dietary restrictions?

Answer

Cocktail hour will have an open bar and spread. Dinner will be served family style with wine service. When submitting your RSVP, please inform us of any dietary restrictions for you and your party and we will accommodate accordingly. The bar will remain open throughout the duration of the wedding.
