FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP and let us know who you are bringing (if applicable) by November 1st 2025. You can do so in the "RSVP" tab on this website.

Question

What time should I get there?

Answer

We ask that you plan to arrive 30 minutes early. The garden and heated pavilion will be open to settle in before the ceremony!

Question

Can I arrive late?

Answer

We understand that everyone has work and responsibilities. You are welcome to arrive anytime! All we ask is that you do not walk in/out during the ceremony (it's short, it won't be hard), and that you try to arrive before 6pm.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

If you know anything about us, you know we prioritize comfort! So, while the dress code is formal, black-tie optional, we also don't want you to be uncomfortable all night. Please remember to have an outfit on-hand for the after party and feel free to change into it whenever you feel you've had enough of the dress, heels, makeup/suit, tie, dress shoes of it all! (We will be changing into our comfies as soon as the dance floor opens)

Question

Do I need to dress for the weather?

Answer

While there will be opportunities to spend time outside (with bonfires), there will ALWAYS be an indoor, heated option. There will be a coat check and assigned seating, so you don't have to worry about where to leave your belongings.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Invitations will specify for each person individually. We want everyone celebrating our day with us to be more than just a "plus one". If your invitation indicates "plus one", please let us know who you intend to bring ASAP. We want to invite them personally!

Question

Can I stay at The Vandiver Inn?

Answer

While some rooms may be available closer to the wedding, we want to ensure our close family and friends get rooms before offering it to the public.

Question

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Everything we have planned will be in walking distance once you get to the venue. We are not providing shuttles, so please plan accordingly. There is parking on-site if you end up driving.

Question

Can I take photos at the wedding?

Answer

We ask that you limit your phone use to a minimum throughout the night, and have your phones completely off for the ceremony. We want everyone to be as present as possible.
