The Lord has been incredibly good to us! He has not only been faithful in nurturing our friendship and relationship but has also graciously made a way for us to celebrate His union of love between us at the breathtaking Memoire Wedding and Conference Venue. To Him alone be all the praise and glory! Yet still, a HUGE thank you to our parents who have helped in incredible ways! Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, coming together as one, with God at the center. As Tim Keller beautifully says, “Marriage is the most powerful picture of the gospel because it is a relationship where love is not based on performance but on grace.” We hold this vision dearly and are so excited to celebrate this covenant with you. A wedding day is a celebration of this union, surrounded by the community of people God has placed in our lives. As Ecclesiastes 4:12 reminds us, “A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” With this in mind, we felt led to have a larger ceremony where we could worship and rejoice with as many of you as possible. However, to honour the intimacy of the occasion and the practicalities of the day, the reception will have a smaller guest list. This means guests who have been invited to attend only the ceremony are kindly requested to depart as the reception begins at around 6pm. There will be many things to still do and fellowship around after the ceremony too, so please don't run off too quickly. We deeply appreciate your understanding and support of this approach, and we pray that the day will be a joyful reflection of God’s goodness and grace. Finally, we cannot wait to celebrate with you all!
