On the Day: Getting to and From the Venue

To make your journey as smooth as possible, we highly recommend booking accommodation close to the venue. For those traveling on the day, Uber and Bolt services are readily available, or you may prefer to travel by car. If you're coming by train, the closest station is Epsom, from which a short taxi ride will bring you to the venue.

Epsom Downs Racecourse offers plenty of free parking on-site. However, to help everyone relax and enjoy the occasion to the fullest, especially with drinks flowing, we warmly encourage guests to consider alternative travel arrangements.

Dress Code

Answer

We want you to feel completely comfortable throughout the day. As we will have two distinct events, we would be honoured if you would consider wearing traditional Hindu attire for the ceremony – such as sarees, lehengas, or anarkali suits for ladies, and veshti, kurtas, or sherwanis for gentlemen. For the evening reception, cocktail dresses and smart suits would be perfect.

Traveling from Abroad

Answer

For our international guests, we recommend flying into London Gatwick (LGW) or London Heathrow (LHR) for the easiest journey. London Luton (LTN) is another viable option, though it may require a slightly longer transfer. If you require a visa to enter the UK, please ensure you begin the application process well in advance. We recommend applying at least 5-6 months prior to the wedding to allow ample time for processing.
