Associated Clinical Laboratories (ACL) / Giant Eagle (Yorktown Center)

ACL performs Covid tests on an appointment basis. You can make an appointment using their online registration tool - please use the zip code 16505 when searching for a location. Giant Eagle has a drive through testing option, which also requires an appointment. For the safety of all guests, we strongly encourage you to get tested before attending the wedding.

Presque Isle State Park

We highly recommend a visit to Presque Isle State Park while you’re in town. Visit the beaches (our favorites are beaches 3 and 9), rent bikes or run on the trail that circles the perimeter of the peninsula. You can also rent kayaks and explore the lagoons.

Erie Bluffs State Park

A state park with very nice views of Lake Erie. Hiking trails and shale beaches.

If you're flying through Cleveland, you may want to take some time to visit the Cleveland Museum of Art, which has beautiful grounds and an extensive collection.

Chautauqua Institution

Chautauqua Institution has run a multi-faceted annual cultural, educational, and musical program every summer since 1874. The Institution is set within a small and beautiful gated town on Lake Chautauqua about 45 minutes from Erie. It's a truly special place if you can fit it into your schedule. Each day has different programming, so check the schedule before you head over! Entry is about $50 per person per day and Sundays are free.
