If you have some extra time, we highly recommend a visit to Weston! Spend the afternoon hiking scenic trails at Weston Bend State Park, browsing the charming shops throughout town, and grabbing a delicious bite at Tin Kitchen. End the evening with a drink at O'Malley's Pub, a unique Irish pub set inside an underground cave, definitely a favorite of ours! Fun fact: Elizabeth used to bartend at McCormick on Main while also working as a tour guide up the road at the distillery.
Just outside St. Joseph near Gower, Prestyn's Wine Bar at Copper Hill Golf Club is a great place to relax with a glass of wine and scenic views. Right next door, Copper Hill offers a laid-back nine-hole course, driving range, and fun extras, perfect for spending a casual afternoon before or after wedding festivities.
A convenient shopping and dining area with plenty of restaurants, stores, and quick stops for anything you may need during the weekend. Great for guests staying in or passing through St. Joseph.
Just a short drive from the venue, Smithville has something for everyone. Enjoy lakefront views and trails around Smithville Lake, grab a casual bite or drinks at KoZak's Laketown Grill, and explore the historic downtown with local shops and eateries. Stop by Chop’s BBQ and Catering for classic smoked BBQ or check out cozy spots around town for a laid-back meal or drink.
