Let's Do This!

Emilio was asked to sub for a sick teacher at Queens Guitar School. Elizabeth decided to rent a guitar between theater gigs rather than travel hers across country. Elizabeth sat in the waiting area waiting for the teacher to come out and help her rent a guitar. She heard him instruct his student through a closed door. She thought "Man, this person and I are very similar people in the world." She decided this dude was probably about 50 years old and went back to thumbing through guitar fakebooks. 45 minutes passed and the door opened. Emilio spoke..."Oh, man, I'm sorry! How long have you been waiting here?" “Oh, not long," she said while taking in how much cuter this guy was than anticipated. She played it cool because she was reeeally only interested in renting a guitar (she had just begun dating someone else), but the vortex she was suddenly feeling while Emilio walked towards her was hard to ignore. She said she vibrationally heard "You've never met a man like this." It felt like the Universe parting the Red Sea towards Emilio. (Seriously. It did.) The two of them were courteous to the sweet student who started talking about fly-fishing, but she seemed to evaporate as magnetism pulled. The fly-fisher left. Emilio started to relentlessly chat up Elizabeth who wasn't stopping him. They chatted for FOUR(!) hours, exchanged email addresses, and parted ways. Things fizzled fast with the guy she had just started dating. Elizabeth and Emilio texted a couple times over the next couple months. In Nov. 2014, Emilio asked Elizabeth to trade voice lessons for guitar. Three wonderful lessons in, they decided the plan to trick themselves into 'just being friends' was working. Until Emilio accidentally grabbed Elizabeth's hand while showing him an exercise. She took that as a sign to ask him out through a text that night. The next day, Emilio responded, "LET'S DO THIS!" The rest is history.
