Best Man
Zach and I first met back in middle school, and we have been best friends ever since; we even have an award to prove it! From growing up down the street together, to rooming together in college, and everything in between, I am blessed to have been a part of so many different phases of his life. From digging the car out of the Michigan snow to watching the Lions’ first home playoff win, there’s no one I’d rather be best friends with. Zach is like the brother I never had, and I’m so excited to be a part of this special moment in his and Lizzy’s lives!
Matron of Honor
Liz and I met during our freshman year of high school at Lutheran High Northwest. We aren't sure how we became friends, all of a sudden we just were! We've helped at VBS together, searched for our school dance dresses together, and I even watched her run head-first and blindfolded into a brick wall for our AP Psychology class! She even introduced me to my husband! Although I can't take credit for the same, I still remember her telling me about Zach, and how she found the man she was going to marry. I am so blessed to be standing by the happy couple as they start this next chapter in their lives!
Maid of Honor
I met the bride back in fifth grade, from our shared love for God. Over the years our friendship has been filled with countless dance parties, many adventures and even more sushi dates than I can count. Whether we’re laughing until our cheeks hurt or pushing each other through workouts, I’ve treasured every moment we’ve shared. Over the years, we’ve swapped stories about our future weddings, and I couldn’t be happier to watch my beautiful friend say “I do” to the love of her life.

Ben is the second of the Grycza boys! Growing up he and Zach would spend all day on the trampoline, playing nerf guns, and seeing if they could beat the Call of Duty Zombies Easter egg. Nowadays they frequently get together to golf, disc golf, and watch sports.

As one of the four older brothers (yes, she survived all of us), I have always taken the role of protector, jokester, and unsolicited life coach very seriously. I absolutely adore my little sister, even when she would always come into my room un-announced (as a kid). I couldn't be happier that she found someone as kind, caring, and respectful as Zach. I'm honestly just thrilled she didn't settle for less. I love these two--whether we're going on double dates, sharing big life talks, or just laughing over nothing, they're two of my favorite people. Standing beside them on their big day is one of the greatest honors I've had. And while I might be older, wiser, and way funnier...watching them build a life together makes me feel incredibly proud to be a part of their life.

I first met Liz..ard (that is how my husband refers to her lol) back in 2018, when I was dating her favorite brother (yes, she’ll tell you he’s the favorite, and I won’t argue… too much). From that moment, she welcomed me with open arms, as if I had always been part of the family. I’m originally from Colombia, so joining a new family in a new place could have felt overwhelming but thanks to her kindness, it never did. Today, my husband and I are blessed with a very handsome little boy, Julian, who absolutely adores his aunt. I think she might be his favorite person after us (and maybe even before us when she spoils him). I feel so lucky to call her not just my sister-in-law, but my sister. She’s one of those rare people who make you feel at home instantly, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have her in my life.

Nick is Zach’s youngest brother. They’ve spent countless hours rough housing, playing sports, play video games, and everything in between that brothers do. In more recent times Zach has had the joy of watching his youngest brother play out his high school sports, and start his very own adult life. You can find both him and Zach competing on the golf course, with Nick taking most of the victories!

We first met as campers at Springhill back in 2017, and from that moment, a special friendship began. Over the next two years, we worked together at camp, even serving as co-counselors for a week during our very first summer. Funny enough, we grew up just down the road from each other but didn’t realize it until later! Since then, I’ve moved to Florida, but no matter where life takes us, our friendship remains strong and close to my heart.

Alex met Zach up at MSU for their final year of college. By random chance “Mags” as we call him and his other friend Alex were looking for one more guy to fill a bedroom in a house they were going to rent for the 21-22 school year. What started as a 5 minute zoom call interview turned into a lifetime memories and good times within just a short year. Through all the shenanigans and late nights Alex had been one of Zach’s best friends to share a beer and a laugh with!

Lizzy and I became friends early on, either in preschool or dance class. It’s hard to remember exactly when because she’s simply always been there. I truly can’t recall a time in my life without Lizzy in it. We’ve grown up side by side, walking through so many seasons together including celebrating the highs and navigating the lows. From our awkward middle school years to anxiously hoping for our dream programs, and now, the joy of planning our weddings together—it’s been a beautiful journey. I will always hold Lizzy’s friendship close to my heart and now get to see my “sister” growing up, sharing her heart with the man we always prayed for.

Josh is Zach’s oldest friend! They’ve know each other since kindergarten and have always managed to keep in touch through the years. Zach had his first ever sleepover at Josh’s, and this started a tradition that continued well into high school. Zach and Josh always have something to talk about, whether it be Michigan pro sports, video games, or movies. They still get together once a year for a cabin trip with their now mutual friends. And they have a bi-weekly DnD session that helps them keep in touch!
