His version: It was the beginning of our senior year of college and we each were meeting up with some of our closest friends at the same pregame. After I met Libby that night and talked with her for a few hours; it didn't take very long for me to know that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. The next week we went on a date to Spill the Beans ice cream shop in Clemson. Fast forward 9 months and we graduated and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where we began our careers! I can't wait for the moment I dreamed of in 2016 to become a reality. Her version: At first I thought William was another guy hitting on me in a bar. He said he would take me on a date but he didn't even get my phone number. I was impressed when he messaged me on Facebook with a hilarious knock knock joke. He knew my humor from the beginning. I loved his idea of ice cream for our first date (my favorite dessert). Before we had even started dating he said he would move to Tulsa, OK with me, and that is when I knew he was the one! William is everything I need and more! I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him!

William set up a big surprise for the proposal. My family went to noon Mass on December 30th at Christ Our King Church (the church where we will get married), and little did I know that he was waiting outside! He was in his suit in the garden of the church, and he popped the question with all of our family and a secret photographer there to capture it all!
