We first met in third-period Spanish class during our freshman year at Cretin-Derham Hall in St. Paul, Minnesota. Quickly becoming best friends, we attended every high school dance together, and by junior year, we officially started dating. What we didn’t know at the time was that Liam had already manifested our relationship. During our senior year, he opened the time capsule we’d written as freshmen. Inside, it read, “Don’t worry, I will get Lizzie one day, and the senior-year me will look back and be glad I waited for her.” We both attended the University of Minnesota together, where our journey continued. We even traveled to Ireland, where our families have roots, deepening our bond. Almost six years later, in the charming town of Kinsale, Ireland, a place both our families had visited, Liam proposed. Now, Liam works at Target, and I’m finishing my final year of law school at the University of St. Thomas. It’s been a journey of love, growth, and countless memories, and we’re excited for what’s next in our story!
