We first crossed paths at the Canyon County Fair in the summer of 2015—just two little kids surrounded by livestock, lemonade stands, and the smell of kettle corn. Back then, we had no idea what the future held. It wasn’t until 2019 that our friendship began to blossom into something more. Even though we went to different schools, we always found our way back to each other—whether it was cheering from the sidelines at athletic events, fitting animals at livestock shows, competing at FFA competitions. Somehow, we were always side by side. Now, years later, we're still each other’s favorite teammate—finishing our journey together at the University of Idaho, with half a lifetime of memories (and fair ribbons).
