When should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Guests may plan to arrive at the Old Pate Chapel starting at 2:30 pm. The ceremony will begin at 3 pm.

Dress Code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire. Formal attire optional. The reception venue will have a terrace available for backyard games, so consider bringing an overcoat.

Appetizer/Dinner Options?

Answer

Appetizers includes cheese, crackers, assorted veggies with dip, and turkey meatballs. Entrée selection of Smoked Split Chicken and pulled pork. Sides of roasted red potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, and rolls. Drinks will include water, tea, and lemonade.

Reception Parking?

Answer

The parking garage at the Bank of the James will be available to use on the day of the reception. Guests will take an elevator from the garage to the reception venue.

Please do not have phones out during the ceremony, but taking photos during the reception is permitted.
