Maid of Honor
As my older sister, Rebecca has always set the bar high. Whether personal presentation, higher education, or career trajectory - I have always tried to keep up with Rebecca's personal and professional successes. Solicited or unsolicited :), Rebecca gives the most pragmatic advice and makes you feel a little more surefooted when making those tough decisions. You can rely on Rebecca for a lot of things, but especially 1) hilarious stories, 2) cat photos, and 3) strong advice. What better person to ground me when I stand up at the alter? Side note, if you're looking for topnotch career advice, bring your resume to the ceremony for Rebecca to review.
Best Man
Eric is my best friend and best man. We met wrestling in high school and have been involved in some form of debauchery or another ever since. We've lived together, cried together, and hurt each other. Basically we're manly men together.

Holly, Travis' older sister, is such an incredibly kind and genuine person. Being an older sister to three younger, rambunctious brothers, and Lecturer at Stanford University, is no easy feat! You wouldn't think that if you asked Holly about it. She speaks with such grace and support when asked about family, students, and work. Even if you ask her to pick apart your graduate school admissions essay (*cough*), she'll do it without making you cry :). Okay, I'm going to stop now out of fear that my grammar/writing style is going to disappoint her (Holly has her PhD in English Writing, Rhetorics, & Literacies). I'm excited to have her as a new sister-in-law!

Alisha and I met at Teach for America's summer training program and became fast friends when we realized we were both teaching in self-contained classrooms within the same district. Through the initial shock, laughs (often while crying), reassurances (also while crying), sentimental chats, and sporadic outrage at our education system, our friendship has outlasted six years of moving states, careers, and focus. We can go months without talking and then pick-up exactly where we left off, which usually involves marathon dinner dates and a selfie to document it.

Allison and I sat at the same table for our graduate school orientation. Little did she know, I was already plotting how to make her my friend! We ended up taking (read: suffering) through most of the same classes and worked on three different group projects throughout the two years. Allison is always, and I mean always, poised, professional, and put together. It's my not-so-secret- dream that Allison and I will one day work in the same office! She's someone who gets sh*t done, keeps the gears moving, gives feedback you can trust, and really makes you look good just by being associated with her :)

I met LaToya through doing CrossFit in Atlanta. On Sundays, I went to the gym to workout... and LaToya would come to socialize. So began our quest to become the fittest we've ever been and laugh our way through it (thankfully the quest has no real measures or end date). LaToya is someone who can make you laugh, especially when you think you're dying, and reminds you to not take everything too seriously. She'll be your biggest supporter, even when you think you don't deserve it. If you're stressed out at all during the weekend, go have a conversation with LaToya for some perspective and comedic relief.
