Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony kicks off at 4:00 PM sharp. That’s not “start thinking about leaving your house at 4” sharp, it’s “butts in seats and tissues ready” sharp. We recommend showing up by 3:45 PM to park, mingle, and settle in.

Question

Where is everything happening?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are at the same venue, Apple Barn, Filer ID The ceremony is outside (yes, in November, bring your layers). The reception will be indoors, where it’s warm, festive, and full of snacks.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We’re asking everyone to wear black attire that’s nice, but not red carpet fancy. Think: “I clean up well” not “I just cleaned the garage.” Jeans? Totally fine—as long as they’re dressed up and not your yard work pair. No T-shirts, no work uniforms, and definitely no neon. The ceremony is outside in November, so layer up and bring that cute coat! Basically: Dress like you're going to a cool fall wedding… because you are. 🖤

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Only if they’re listed on the invite! We love your little ones, but our venue has a strict capacity. If your kids didn’t make the invite list, it’s not personal, it’s just math. Thanks for understanding and helping us keep things smooth for our special day!

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, but it’s limited and no street parking is allowed. Please carpool if you can or ride in on a majestic steed. Either way, plan ahead and park only where allowed so the apple trees don’t get mad. Let us know if you need help with travel accommodations!

Question

Can I bring booze?

Answer

Yes, our wedding is BYOB style! But hold the hard stuff. Only beer, wine, seltzers, or champagne are allowed. No shots, no flasks, no “it’s just Fireball in a water bottle.” We’ll have communal coolers with ice available to keep your BYOB drinks cold! Feel free to add a few of your drinks to chill and keep the rest in your car to restock later. Please be mindful to grab only what you brought and help us keep the area tidy and drip-free. Thank you for celebrating responsibly with us! 🖤

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Only if your invitation says so! We’d love to invite everyone and their best friend’s cousin, but space is tight. If your name’s on the envelope, we picked you for a reason. 🖤

Question

Is the venue accessible?

Answer

Mostly, yes however please keep in mind our venue is on two different levels so there are stairs. If you or someone in your group needs a little extra help, please let us know ahead of time so we can make it as comfortable as possible. We got you!

Question

Can I frolic through the orchard?

Answer

You may frolic responsibly, but please don’t pick the apples, climb the trees, or channel your inner Tarzan. The orchard is an actual working farm, not a jungle gym or snack bar. Let’s keep it beautiful!

Question

What if I lose my RSVP code and panic?

Answer

First: breathe. Second: shoot us a message or text (contact info is on the invite or site). We’ll get you sorted faster than you can say “I swear I had it right here a second ago.” No judgment—we’ve all been there. 💌

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! We like you too much to let you go hungry. There will be dinner, drinks, and dessert, so bring your appetite and your stretchy dancing pants (under your nice black outfit, of course).

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We’ve got you. When you RSVP, there will be a spot to let us know about any dietary needs. We’ll do our best to accommodate and make sure everyone gets something delicious!

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

During the ceremony, we kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras put away, it’s an unplugged ceremony. We’ve hired a professional to capture all the magic, so you can just be present and soak it in. Once the ceremony ends? Snap away, selfie it up, and tag us if you want, we’ll be glowing!
