After a wonderful visit to Sumter, South Carolina, we were at home late in the evening. Here I was all ready for bed, except that I was hungry. I'm standing in front of the refrigerator deciding what to eat. All of a sudden, Anthony is standing beside me then knelt on his knee and asked me to be his wife. Needless to say, I never got anything to eat! I was very surprised and the first people to know were Momma and Dad, Betsy and Cliff Scroger.
