The Raw Bar at Island Creek Oyster Farm
A fun, super casual spot for oysters, cocktails, and a great beer selection with plenty of outdoor seating. Our favs are the clam dip, shrimp cocktail, and a John Daly! Perfect place to watch the sunset. Don't fill up too much on oysters, we'll have Island Creeks available during our cocktail hour :)
Powder Point Bridge
Apparently, this is the longest wooden bridge in the world. It's pretty iconic to walk/drive over, especially during sunset. And it takes you to Duxbury Beach, which is where we spend most summer weekend days!
Duxbury Marketplace
A super cute shopping area with tons of little shops/restaurants; our favs are Oropa, Booked, and the Studio. For food here, we recommend Seabird for coffee/doughnuts, D'Orazio's for sandwiches, Peel Pizza, and SoBol for smoothies!
Coffee Shack
A no-frills coffee shop with breakfast sandwiches, doughnuts (get the maple bacon!!) and pastries.
French Memories
Delicious (seriously, you must go here) French bakery with amazing pastries, croissants, breads, and desserts. It's right next to the venue if you want to scope out the scene!
Gunther Tooties
For all of our breakfast sandwich-loving friends (New Yorkers, we're talking to you!) It might be in a gas station, but these bagels are delicious! There's also a downtown Plymouth location, if you're staying there!
Farfar's Danish Ice Cream Shop
A must-visit if you're an ice cream lover. Cash only, so come prepared. Our favs are coffee, Oreo, and pumpkin (if it's available - we will do some sleuthing and keep you posted!)
Lobster Hut
Our favorite local spot for delicious lobster rolls, clam chowder, and fried seafood. Super casual, VERY delish.
Plymouth Rock
For our history buffs. Worth a walk-by if you're exploring downtown Plymouth. Prepare to be underwhelmed!
Plimoth Patuxet Museums
This is a really interesting living museum that replicates what Plymouth was like when the settlers landed. Definitely worth a visit!
Whale Watch
If you have time for a cruise, a boat will bring you out to Cape Cod Bay and Stellwagen Bank to (hopefully!) see a variety of different whales. We recommend Captain John Boats!
Downtown Plymouth
A downtown, waterfront area with fun boutiques, restaurants, candy, and ice cream shops! Great to walk around for an afternoon!
