Maggie Stratton

Maid of Honor

Maggie is my little sister, and I’m so excited she gets to be my Maid of Honor. She is kind, funny, and loving. We are more opposite than alike, but we have grown much closer as we have gotten older. She has taught me so much about patience, and I hope I have been able to teach her a little as well. It has been so fun to get to see her and Tanner form a friendship through the years we have been together, and I cannot wait to have her right beside us on our big day!

Ross Parke

Best Man

Ross was the first person I met at SCA back in high school and since then we have slowly grown closer as friends. Whether it is playing basketball, riding around on scooters, or messing around in a Walmart, I know I’m gonna have a good time with Ross in whatever we do. I have always admired Ross’s family and faith as important part of his life. I know that is something Liz and I will try to imitate and enjoy as our friendship with Ross continues to grow. He is truly a man of God that I am fortunate to call a friend (even if he does take 5 days to respond to a text message).

Lindsey Berry

Bridesmaid

Lindsey has been my best friend since 8th grade. She has been my most steadfast friend. She’s been there for all the ups & downs, even when we have been physically separated by distance. She is wise beyond her years & I admire her love for the Lord. She always points others back to Jesus, and I couldn’t ask for anything more in a friend! Lindsey was a huge part of the day Tanner & I got engaged, and I am so thankful she spent such a large part of that day with me.

Brock Johnson

Groomsman

Brock goes back to the beginning with me. We knew each other in middle school, but starting at St. Mary’s our freshman year we became friends through basketball. We spent a lot of time together over the years playing basketball, doing early morning workouts, and driving to practice. All that time spent together built a bond that didn’t require words to hold together. It got us through tough times and helped us grow. I know no matter how much I get to see or talk to him, Brock will always be there for us. He is a great friend I know I can count on.

Marresa Ross

Bridesmaid

Marresa has been one of my best friends since elementary school. We have been able to walk through many seasons of life together. We went from making up games on the playground to playing volleyball together in high school to living in the same town for college. Marresa is practically another child in my family, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’ve been dreaming about the day Tanner & I will get married for years, and I am so excited she gets to stand with me on that day!

Madison Chandler

Groomsman

Madison and I met our junior year of high school. As a new transfer from Texas and his dad being in the military, he brought a little something different to our friend group. He was uniquely Madison. He enjoyed being outside and exploring the world, always welcoming new people. And even though he lived like an hour away from everyone else, it was always fun having bonfires at his house. I have always respected Madison’s unashamed willingness to be himself and I know he will always bring his “unique” personality to our friend group.

Jeanne-Marie Knapp

Bridesmaid

Jeanne-Marie and I went to high school together, but we really didn’t become friends until after she graduated. I originally was better friends with her fiancé because he & I had been in the same class for many years from elementary through high school. But as the years have gone on, Jeanne-Marie & I have become so close, and she is a friend who I couldn’t imagine life without. This season of life has been so sweet as we have gotten to share in the season of engagement together, and I will get to stand by her side on her wedding day in May!

Ryan Stauffer

Groomsman

Growing up Ryan and I used to compete in pretty much anything we could from basketball in my room to video games. I was normally the classic frustrated younger brother losing, but I think a lot of my competitive nature is from my relationship with my brother. He pushed me to the be the best I could and has always been a helping hand along the way. I’m thankful for the relationship we have today knowing that I can always go to him when I have questions or need to talk. I’m looking forward to seeing how our relationship grows as we both enjoy these next stages of life in marriage.

Anna Stratton

Bridesmaid

Anna is my amazing sister-in-law. She has been married to my brother for over two years, and she fits in so well with our family. She is truly one of the kindest people I know and cares for the people around her so well! I love knowing that she and I will always be apart of each other's lives, and I can't wait to continue to grow closer through the years. I got to stand by her side as she married my brother, and I am so thankful I get to have her by my side as I marry Tanner!

Henry Stratton

Groomsman

Henry graduated the year before I came to SCA, but I remember him always coming back for open gyms for basketball and being affectionately referred to as Hank the Tank. And I could tell from his basketball game that is was pretty accurate. But as I dated Liz and got to know him better, I learned how caring and kind he is. Something I saw in Liz and him and the entire Stratton Family. I admire Henry’s willingness to work hard and his authenticity about the things he loves. I’m excited to become his brother-in-law and get to know better (hopefully he can improve my golf swing at some point too).

Allie Roop

Bridesmaid

Allie is my best friend from Missouri State. We actually didn’t become friends until my last year there. We quickly realized we were very similar & that led us to becoming fast friends. We got engaged within a few weeks of each other, and it has been so fun to go through this season of life together. I am eternally grateful that the Lord brought both of us to that Monday night small group through Hill City! I’m so glad Allie gets to be apart of my day, and I can’t wait to be in her bridal party as well!

Michael Butler

Groomsman

Michael was a great brother and friend to me growing up. He was always happy to see me and loved messing with me whenever he could. He lived life to the fullest and was someone you know you would have a good time with. He is always going to be missed. Rest In Peace Michael 07/23/08
