These are the closest airports. Greenville/Spartanburg is about an hour drive maybe a little more. Obviously Asheville regional is the closest. Spirit newly has one direct flight per day from MCO- AVL Allegiant flys direct to AVL and GSP from SFB ( Sanford) PGD direct ( Punta Gorda) to AVL

The Clarion is minutes from the Asheville airport and just over an hour from Greenville/Spartanburg. It is 1.6 miles from the Biltmore Estate.Stephen and I have stayed here before. It was just what we needed. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room, but it was clean and a comfortable place to sleep. This is probably one of the more affordable options especially if you book early or are comfortable using a second party website (i.e. booking.com, Priceline etc.)
