Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There is plenty of parking on site at Hurst Ranch to accommodate every guest.

Is hard alcohol allowed?

Answer

No, only beer, wine, seltzer, and cider are allowed at the venue. Luckily for you, we will be providing all the above complimentary!

Is smoking allowed at the venue?

Answer

Please reframe from smoking in the barn or at the ceremony site. There are designated smoking areas near the restrooms and parking roundabout. Also, open flames are not allowed as it will be peak fire season, so please be careful of disposing your litter.

Are there any onsite accommodations for guest?

Answer

Trailers and campers are allowed overnight if you would like to take advantage of this option! there are no hookups allowed though and please inform us if you plan on using a camper/trailer on the property so we can plan for so.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

No specific hotel recommendations in the general area of the reception, but there are plenty of options in either Jamestown or Sonora, less than 15 minutes from the venue. If you don’t mind a bit more of a drive under half an hour the Copperopolis, Gateway Hotel, or anywhere in Oakdale as well are very nice options!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation. Please plan accordingly as Uber is in the area, but it is a rural area and may not be available. Taxi services are available in the area if you want to go old school.

Is anyone allowed on the dock or in the pond?

Answer

Please no getting on the dock or in the pond. There is no lifeguard on duty and kids are not allowed to play to close where it could be dangerous.
