We got married!

Kindred Oaks - 2100 Co Rd 176, Georgetown, TX 78628 Kindred Oaks is an outdoor venue, and the reception space will be covered but open air. We were both a part of the young adult group at Hill Country Bible Church for two years before we started dating. Over Labor Day weekend in 2018, we attended a young adult retreat in Marble Falls, TX. There, we got to know each other better and came away as better friends. After hanging out together with some of our friends later in the week, Sean decided that he was going to ask Elizabeth out. Knowing that we would not see each other in person for a few weeks due to weekend travel, Sean called Elizabeth under the pretense of talking about a two-stepping event she was planning. He asked her out, and after pausing for a few seconds, she said yes! We went out to dinner the following Monday evening, where we talked for four and half hours and quite literally lost track of the time. The rest, they say, is history.

We spent the month of May 2020 with Elizabeth's parents in Richmond, TX because of COVID. Sean was making secret trips to purchase the ring while we were staying there. In early June, Elizabeth's brother Robbie came down from Dallas to celebrate her mom's birthday. We went out for dinner, and afterward Sean took Elizabeth to Mary Jo Peckham Park in Katy, TX, to watch the sunset over the lake in the park. The lake was crowded with really large ducks. Robbie hid behind a hill with a camera and waited for Sean to propose at sunset, which he did right on the edge of the lake.
