FAQs

The Wedding Website of Elizabeth Iloff and Samuel Tran
Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP no later than February 1st. We understand oversights, so please text either one of us if the date passes and you still intend on coming. Unfortunately, we will assume you will not be in attendance if you don’t RSVP at all. We will miss you celebrating with us, however we have to provide a total guest count to our venue and vendors with enough time to allow them to properly prepare for our wedding. Please be sure to RSVP as soon as possible!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can click the RSVP tab above and RSVP at any time before February 1, 2026.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Our wedding is formal, meaning women should wear floor length dresses (bright colors or patterns are welcome). And men should wear dark colored suits and ties. Please try to avoid jeans/denim and any shades of white. The ceremony and reception will be held outside.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm. We kindly request that you arrive 30 minutes early to ensure you don’t miss anything. If you arrive after the ceremony has already started, we ask that you patiently wait for the processional to conclude before you quietly find a seat.

Question

What is parking like?

Answer

Complimentary parking is available at the venue. The main parking lot, side streets, as well as the Milk and Cookies parking lot are all available, however we do suggest carpooling or choosing a ride share option as parking can often be a cause for delay.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Typically March in Houston is dry, with warmer sunny days and cooler breezy nights. We are expecting the ceremony to take place in the mid 70s while dropping down to the 40s or 50s during the reception. We will have heaters and blankets but ask that you monitor the weather and bring the appropriate attire.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and are hoping to keep the guest list limited to those on your invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding our desire to keep our wedding an intimate celebration.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love you and, as an extension, adore your kids. We have been very limited in capacity due to the venue rules, therefore, invitations will be specific and will include the names of those in your party invited. If you are bringing children we ask that you watch them closely as there are unattended areas that could be dangerous for children.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We’ll be serving hors d’oevres at cocktail hour followed by a full course dinner during the reception. We will have vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten-free options.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar on us that will be available at the start of cocktail hour.

Question

Can I post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Of course! However, we do appreciate in advance your being present throughout the evening. Instagram can wait, dancing cannot.
