We're Getting Married

Eleven years ago Ross used to run track in college with my brother. To make the story short we both had the hots for each other but never had the guts to do anything about it. We would flirt through liking each others pictures on social media. My brother tried to be the middle man for awhile but it was the classic 'if I had a boyfriend, he was single, if he was single, I had a boyfriend'. This game played out for a few years. In 2020 my brother got married and decided to partner him and I up to walk down the aisle together. This was the first time we met. However we were still playing our game and Ross had a girlfriend and I had actually lived in South Carolina at the time, but we hit it off and got along SO well. This is where the friendship started. He would come around when I visited home, we'd take our dogs for walks or meet up at breweries and we started to become really close friends. Finally the game ended and our timing was able to align. We successfully survived a 9 month long-distance relationship before I moved back to Michigan and into his home in February of 2024. We were engaged 3 months later.
