Robbie went to visit his brother on a last-minute travel change. While in Los Angeles, he scrolled through Tinder and swiped right on one special lady. They texted, then chatted, then skyped.... but there was one problem. Liz lived in Los Angeles and Robbie lived in Missouri! A few months passed and Liz finally decided to fly out to Missouri to meet Robbie in person. It was love at first sight. They dated for a year, long-distance before Robbie got a job and moved out to California to be with Liz.
We got engaged on December 18, 2015. After a short engagement, we were wed on March 18, 2016. It was a small ceremony led by Liz's home Bishop, with only Liz's mom and twin sisters as witnesses. We exchanged vows, rings, and hearts. Small but sweet.
The short answer is a Latter-day Saint (Mormon) wedding. In our case, a celebration of eternal love! More Information: In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the word sealing refers to the joining together of a man and a woman and their children for eternity. This sealing can be performed only in a temple by a man who has the priesthood, or the authority from God. According to Latter-day Saint belief, the sealing means these family relationships will endure after death. They know that nothing, not even death, can separate them.
