FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal - please wear your best relaxed and elevated summer garb (think flowy dresses, bright colors, light button-downs). It's only fitting for the summer solstice!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, if the person you have in mind is not a WEC congregation member nor an invited family member or friend, we ask that they visit the church as a first-timer for Sunday service instead :)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We would love to welcome friends and congregation members no earlier than 11:40 to give ample time for any set up needs. Family and wedding party members will be arriving earlier.

Question

Does the church have parking for the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, although the area will be busy for a Greek festival that weekend, so please plan an additional 5-10 minutes to find parking! Watertown has free street parking all around the church (Arlington St, Merrifield Ave, etc). There is also metered parking on Wells Ave (behind the CVS) as well as Nichols Ave if you make a left going south from Arlington St.

Question

Is there transportation from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

As guests are arriving to the ceremony in different manners, we have not arranged transportation for guests to go to the reception. Since public transit will take over an hour, we recommend getting to the reception by car or rideshare (Uber and Lyft) instead. We *do* promise food as soon as you arrive there!

Question

Where should I park for the friends & family reception?

Answer

The restaurant provides free parking in a parking lot located beneath Interstate 93 - please enter Laz Lot #5, 90 Traveler St. into your GPS to get there. It is also called INK UNDERGROUND, located at the corner of Albany Street & Traveler Street. Once you enter the lot, you will receive a parking ticket. PLEASE NOTE: If the attendant/auto-attendant requires a credit card up front, then you are in the wrong lot. Please hold onto your parking ticket so you may bring it to the restaurant for a validation sticker. You will then walk about one short block to get to the restaurant. This process has been tested and approved by Paulius and it meets his high expectations. There is also metered parking available along Harrison Avenue. Per the restaurant, please do not park in the Whole Foods lot or the Sepia lot as those lots are monitored and vehicles will be towed.
