Ballyseede Castle has a wide range of rooms available, including family rooms. Additionally, the Earl of Desmond Hotel and numerous hotels can be found nearby and in the town of Tralee, a 5 minute drive from Ballyseede. For guests traveling from outside Ireland, we strongly recommend renting a car - and carpooling if possible - as Ballyseede Castle is outside the town of Tralee and inaccessible by public transport. Flights & Airports

The closest Airport to Ballyseede and Tralee is Kerry Airport, though these are limited to European flights. Car rental companies at this airport include Avis and Europcar. There is also public transportation from the airport to Tralee. Cork Airport and Shannon Airport are both a 1.5 hr drive from Ballyseede. Numerous car rental companies can be found at both airports. Public transport from these airports to Tralee would be via Cork City and Limerick City, respectively. Flights from the US can travel to both airports. Dublin Airport is a 3.5 hr drive to Ballyseede and is the largest international airport. Numerous car rental companies operate from the airport. Public transport from Dublin to Tralee can take 5-6 hrs.
