The Smith’s

Noah McCord Smith & I met at my parents house out back. My sister (Sydney Nash- Wilbourn) was having a birthday party for her now husband Garrhett Wilbourn. Noah & Garrhett grew up together in Dewitt and both attended UAM for college. They were good friends (still are). I also didn’t know that Noah had been around my family a few times through out the years before I ever met him. That night Noah and I hit it off immediately like we had knew each other forever. Our music taste was a big part of what contributed to us really connecting that night! If my dad was still here he would have a story to tell about that night!

Don’t be upset if you weren’t invited or in the know! Noah told no one until people showed up to hangout for New Year’s Eve! At midnight he dropped down on one knee and I couldn’t have been more shocked & excited! It was so special! I had planned a big to do that day for our get together so a proposal wasn’t on my bingo card! What a way to RING in the New Year!
