Question

COVID - What, Where, When, How?

Answer

As we are all aware, the unwelcome guest that is COVID still lingers on, but its worth noting a few pertinent points. First of all, vaccination rates rise, and infection numbers continue to steadily fall, especially anywhere with a tourism industry like Playa Del Carmen. You do not need a test to enter the country, and if you need a test when leaving, the hotel will provide them at NO EXTRA COST. Please make sure anything booked has insurance and/or is changeable in case a new variant appears. Pro tip: Your credit card you use to book the hotel may offer Travel Insurance. If not, it can be purchased through the travel agent.

Question

Can I bring my kids

Answer

As much as we love kids, especially yours, the resort is adults only. We decided to make this wedding an occasion you can truly relax. However, if you can't find care for the wee ones, the resort next door is family friendly and is a short walk away. Note, children will not be allowed in the resort, even for the wedding. Harsh!

Question

What is included in my room rate?

Answer

When you break down the rate we arranged per person (double occupancy), which is roughly $215 per night, you are getting literally everything. Your 5 star room, UNLIMITED food and drinks, and best of all, TIPS and TAX INCLUDED.

Question

What's the weather going to be like?

Answer

Absolutely gorgeous. Warm, not too humid, and just right. Or, if you are part of the Scottish Contingent, absolutely roasting. Get ready.

Question

Arrgh. What do I wear?!?

Answer

Semi Formal wear. It'll be a tropical wedding so we want you to be comfortable. We're happy to help if you are stuck on ideas etc! We will not be getting married on the sand so wear any shoes that are fitting for your attire. To the Scottish guests, Kilts would be loved, but not expected. Maybe for the ceremony, then a quick change for the party!

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Ummmmm.... yes. Of course yes! But we mainly put this FAQ in to let guests know they must have 6 months of validity on them, so that means their passport must be good until October 1 2022. Check now!
