Airport Options

Guests who are flying in should either fly into Santa Barbara Airport (SBA), a 15 minute drive from downtown Santa Barbara, or Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), a ~2 hour drive from downtown Santa Barbara. We recommend renting a car if you plan to fly into LAX, although there is an option to bus/train to Santa Barbara from LAX. If you choose this option, take the Flyaway Bus from LAX to Union Station, and then take the Pacific Surfliner train from Union Station to downtown Santa Barbara.

Where to stay in Santa Barbara

We recommend booking a hotel or AirBnB soon, as they can get expensive in Santa Barbara. We are staying at the Santa Barbara Inn and have a block of rooms reserved, if you prefer to stay in our hotel.
