Because of limited travel ability for various family members, we are getting married in Kentucky on 4/24/2021 and in Pennsylvania on 6/05/2021. Legally we will be married on 6/04/2021, the anniversary of the day we met.
Elizabeth has decided to keep her name after getting married so the couple will officially be Mr. Atkins & Mrs. Slick.
We are renting a tent 3x the size required for the amount of people we are inviting so we will make sure everyone is spread out and feels comfortable. There will be open seating at the reception so people can feel free to sit with whoever they like.
Yes!! We are getting sides for the tent so the rain will not scare us away! If rain is in the forecast, please be prepared and bring an umbrella and a change of shoes in case of less than ideal conditions.
We are getting married at Elizabeth's family lake house. Her grandparents bought it years ago when her father was in his teens. It's been in the family ever since.
Parking will be available in the field leading down to the lake as well as around the house.
We will have a "luxury bathroom trailer" for use throughout the wedding and reception.
To my knowledge, rideshare services are not available in the area of the wedding. Please plan accordingly.
Yes! There will be a shuttle running from 3pm to 1am. Please let Liz know where you are staying and she can add your stop to the shuttle’s itinerary.
Please arrive 15-30 minutes before the ceremony time to ensure you don't miss anything! Drinks will be flowing upon your arrival.
Absolutely!! We would love to celebrate with your whole family.
There will be a buffet with servers with plenty of options. However, if you have a specific food allergy, please let us know.
We wouldn't have it any other way :)
