Go for a stroll down Glendale Blvd for excellent food, thrift shopping, and a super popular farmer's market (Sundays from 9am to 2pm).
Waterfall trails are our favorite but get crowded on the weekends, there are also tons of off-the-beaten-path hiking paths to explore! Bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
The park has a wealth of areas to explore - walking and hiking trails, the LA Zoo, the golf course, and the train museum. Best of all is the Griffith Observatory (free entry!), where you can get up close views of the Hollywood sign on one side, and beautiful vistas all the way out to the ocean on the other.
They'll be playing the Arizona Diamondbacks the whole weekend - game times are unconfirmed this far out!
Start your day at Spoke Bicycle Cafe and take a ride down (the renovated section of) the Los Angeles River. A ton of cute, albeit expensive, coffee shops, restaurants, and hipster boutiques.
A historical landmark in the oldest part of Los Angeles, a popular school field trip destination, and right across the street from our venue! Grab lunch in Chinatown, Little Tokyo, or the DTLA Arts District and explore the markets, or extend your stay with walking tour of DTLA architecture.
A not-to-be-missed LA classic bakery and cafe. The best potato balls you'll ever have in your life.
Walkable from the hotel, the Americana and Glendale Galleria mall combo is one of the better malls in LA, and the two sides of the street are completely different (except the Apple store, which they have on both sides for some reason).
