Elizabeth and Michael announce an "official dating relationship" to Jonathan and Raechel during Elizabeth's second visit to Xi'an China in April 2018.

Michael visited America January 2019. Elizabeth thought proposal chances were 50/50. Michael thought they were 99.99%.

During Michael's visit to America, we took a roadtrip and hit about 15 states, making stops for family and friends in Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Virginia, Maryland, New York, and Kentucky!

Proposal location: Colonial Williamsburg, VA Though Elizabeth was very cold, Michael insisted they go a little further on the walk in one of Elizabeth's favorite places. She wished for warmer knees.

Only a longer than usual pause for Michael to look at his shoe perked some suspicion. He knelt down to “dust off his shoe” and at the end, they were engaged! January 31, 2019.
