Why not!? But also, Lucca is a special place to the Marchi family, having deep roots in Marlia just outside of it! Emily is so excited to become a Marchi where it all began. We have had the fortune of working with a wonderful planner, Elisa Bandoni (@elisa_bandoni_events), who has orchestrated all of the government requirements for marriage through Beatrice Giacometti, as well as our photographer (@studio167__) and make up artist (@sada.makeupartist)! We are so excited to have had our parents, siblings, niece, and great aunt Valeria, who lives in Italy, share our special day with us. We stayed in a building in the heart of the walled city that had multiple vacation apartments within it! (Tuscan Homes) After our ceremony at Palazzo Orsetti, we enjoyed a long and luxuriously languid family meal at Trattoria Canuleia (@canuleiatrattoria).
We did! The day after our ceremony we’re going to explore more of Tuscany and the western coastline.
Thank you so much! We are so thankful but do not require gifts, as celebrating with you at our reception is wonderful as is! If you would still like to gift, we are accepting contributions to our first home fund, as well as gifts that are handmade, heirloom, or vintage.
Absolutely not. We love our pups so much and the little family we have created, but everyone - especially them - will have much more fun if they’re with their doggo friends. P.S. the girls stayed with their breeder, Rosetta Road Doodles, while we were in Italy! They get to play with their mom Frankie, sister Maize, and half siblings/cousins on a big farm in Lanark!
