Elizabeth and Matthew formed a connection online, and decided to take their blossoming relationship off APP and meet for the first time on a pleasant Wednesday night in July of 2019. Both loving music, decided to meet for Music Bingo at Ed's Tavern. They both happened to order wraps for their dinner, while she opted for wine, he stuck to beer. Neither won at Bingo, but he was very impressed with her knowledge of old Motown Music. Being a gentleman, he walked her to her vehicle to say goodnight.

Elizabeth's favorite musical artist was coming through North Carolina, and wanted to go and see him. After a few weeks, the two decided to pull the trigger and bought tickets. Wilmington NC here they come... Little did she know that a few weeks prior, Matthew had made a BIG purchase, and saw this as the perfect opportunity to ask for her hand in marriage. The two set off for Wilmington that morning, driving straight to the beach for some lunch and tasty waves. Day turned into night and they embarked to the Greenfield Lake Amphitheater. Thankfully it was a hot night, to help hide Matthews nervous sweatiness. He carefully listened for the song he wanted to propose to. About a third of the way through the concert the song started... Now or Never Matthew thought. He quickly asked a lady behind him to take a video for him, before pulling out the ring, and getting down on one knee. Asking Elizabeth if she would Consider Him for the rest of her life.
