The ceremony will take place on the 1st floor of the Rotunda (which is the balcony level), in the North Gallery. We would recommend entering the capitol by taking the staircase up on Wisconsin Ave and entering through the doors which should put you right at the North Gallery. Refer to the State Capitol Map tab for a map that we put together to show where to go.
This is not a required event - feel free to take a break back at your hotel or check out another cool bar on campus if that better suits your vibe! Table space & seating at the Terrace will be limited - we will do our best to reserve some space but keep in mind you might be standing for a beat. If the weather does not cooperate, we will pivot to an alternate location during this time frame.
As mentioned in the schedule, we will provide transportation from the ceremony to the Terrace and from the Terrace to The Harvey House. Any other transportation would be your responsibility. Parking at the Madison Concourse Hotel will be comped by the parents of the bride by providing the hotel your validation. Upon entering the parking garage, you will receive a printed ticket that should be provided to the front desk. They will provide you with a validated ticket in exchange for going in/out of the parking garage. We would recommend reiterating that you are part of the room block and should receive parking at no cost during this process. There is no limit on number of vehicles per room that can be validated. Even if your hotel room is not ready, our recommendation is to park at the hotel prior to the wedding ceremony. The capitol is only a short walk from this hotel. Additional parking facilities are available across the street at the State Street Capitol ramp (214 N. Carroll Street). There is parking available at The Harvey House. The entire parking lot is fair game, but keep in mind that it is limited and subject to fill pending any other events happening around the area.
