Maybe Now is the Best Time for a Wedding

Unlike most of you probably know, we met online during the pandemic. We had the best conversations over video calls and quickly became best friends. But that wasn’t where our love showed each other the most. We met in person for the first time on New Year’s Eve the same year and we danced just before the countdown and kissed. Though we stayed as friends for a while, our love prevailed and we have been together since July 10th, 2021.

In 2022, Mason and Liz went up to Arizona to visit her family for Independence day. Their anniversary was on the 10th of that month but they agreed to celebrate it on the 6th while they were still on vacation. Mason took her to a fancy Brazilian Steakhouse which he reserved and notified them of the special occasion. They enjoyed a beautiful dinner and dessert, feeling unified and in love. Afterwards, he took Liz to her family's park to gaze at the stars, which is something you can't do in Orlando. As they listened to a couple romantic songs, Mason asked her to dance. As he held Liz in his arms, he spoke sweet nothings to her, reminding her of how much he loved her and how excited he was of their next adventures. He then pulls a ring out and proposes. Liz was in so much shock she squealed and bounced for joy, saying "Yes" with her body first before she said the actual word. Once she did say yes, they embraced each other in celebration and Liz's brother Kael came out of the bushes to get an official engagement photo. (Thank you Kael)
