Woodland
Woodland is the small city we live in and love. There are often small festivals in downtown. Some spots we enjoy eating at are Mojo's Kitchen, Sakura, Taco Express, Red Robin, and of course, In and Out.
Davis
Davis is a cute college town just 15 minutes from Woodland. There is a Farmer's Market every Saturday morning (8am-1pm) and lots of restaurants and shops in downtown. UC Davis (where Marcela works) is a beautiful campus great for walking, especially The Arboretum.
Sacramento
We live about 20-25 minutes from downtown Sacramento, the capital of California. There are different concert venues, parks, restaurants, and bars. Old Sacramento, DOCO, and Midtown have some cool spots to check out.
Fun Places Not Too Far Away
San Francisco and Lake Tahoe are about 90 minutes away in opposite directions. We are also surrounded by some great wine tasting spots. Some wineries are just 10-20 minutes away in Davis and Zamora or 40 minutes away in Clarksburg. Napa is just 60 minutes away. Cheers!
