WE PREFER NO CHILDREN at the reception due to drinking, smoking, and potty mouths, however some exceptions can be made. We just want you to have a great time with us without the stress of watching your children!
We prefer formal/ Sunday best attire! Nothing extravagant but something you’d wear to a nice dinner. Wear whatever makes you comfortable but know we want everyone to not only feel good and have a great time, but also look good! The weather should be a comfortable temp!
The ceremony starts at 4:30 pm! We will have small social gatherings/ last minute preparations beginning around 3:30pm and would like to have all guests seated 5+ minutes before the ceremony. To ensure you have time to find parking and find your seats, we’d recommend trying to get in a little before 4pm. Rather you join us early than late!
Absolutely! We’d like to limit it to only one +1, but we don’t want anyone to feel secluded or left out so yes, bring someone! (Preferably someone that knows how to boogie)
We will try to have signs up to direct you towards the parking location from the highway. There will be a turn (before or after the house depending on which way you’re coming) and there will be signs and cones and such to direct you to park. If we run out of space there is available parking at the bride and grooms house as well as the grooms brothers house (just a couple houses down) and may be available parking in the front of the house/ venue for the wedding. But there will be a grass lot for parking that will be set right next to the reception area.
It is outdoor. Think backyard family event. We will try our best to make it shimmer and sparkle for that evening magic! The colors are a mix of sage green and a lilac / lavender purple.
