Question

Are we allowed to bring our children?

Answer

While I hope you know we love all of your kids, we're asking for an adult-only celebration and hope you can understand. We also totally understand if you have an infant who relies on you for feeding, but hope Mom and Dad can take the night off otherwise :)

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Food and drinks are on us! We will do our best to accommodate most drinking preferences with a few mixed drink options, wine, a few seltzers, and of course beer. But if you have something specific in mind that you really want, it probably wouldn't hurt to bring a small stash just in case!

What are we doing about parking?

Answer

Unfortunately, we don't have the space to park everyone at the house so we are asking our guests to park at the Wheeler High School that is not far from our house. Wheeler High School (in Union Township - please make sure Crown Point doesn't pop up!) 587 West 300 North Valparaiso, IN 46385 Please park in the EAST side parking lot on the High School side. If coming North off route 30, the road will come to a dead end and the Middle/High School will be on your right. Please continue East past the Middle School and Middle School parking lot to the High School side parking lot (pictures added to FB group to help). We will have a shuttle service taking you back and forth from the lot to the house (about 2 miles away). The gentlemen running the shuttle is Mark. He will have a black Lincoln Navigator and a black Chrysler Minivan to take guests back and forth. Vehicles should also have an orange ribbon tied to the antenna to help distinguish. Please be patient during rush hour times as they will be moving as quick as possible. If you don't see him, you may call him at 219-939-5210 to request a ride. Last calls to vehicles will be around 11:00 PM. At this time, if you'd like to bring your vehicle back to the house, we may be able to work some magic to get everyone in. We just don't have enough room for the entire party and our road can get busy during daylight hours. If you're able to carpool or Uber, we would really appreciate that also!
