Am I able to bring a plus-one or kids?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP for only those named on your invitation/RSVP. While we love your kids, in order to ensure we have enough space for our guests, we will be unable to accommodate any additional guests. We hope this advance notice means that you are able to make accommodations in order to celebrate with us.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We prefer everyone to wear cocktail attire. Men should wear a suit or dress shirt with tie and women should wear a midi-or knee-length dress or dressy separates. Our wedding is in August, and our ceremony will be outdoors, so keep that in mind when choosing your outfit & footwear. No stilettos due to the golf course please!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please find hotel accommodations in the Travel section. We will have a room block that can be reserved by calling and mentioning the Engelbrecht - Smith wedding.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all take place at the same venue. There will be a hotel shuttle to transport people to and from the wedding. The shuttle will be departing from the hotel at 3:15 pm.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

For those that want to keep the celebration going, we will be having an after party at Olympia Sports Bar & Grill following the reception! There will be a separate shuttle to transport guests to the party and back to the hotel.
