FAQs

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We suggest renting an Air BNB. There are a ton of them around so you’ll have plenty of options. We recommend finding friends or family to split it with to help bring down costs. There are 1 bedroom - 5 bedrooms available. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!! https://www.airbnb.com https://www.vrbo.com

Question

How do I get around Geneva?

Answer

Taxi - Baci Winery is about 25 minutes from Geneva-on-the-lake. Sunset Taxi is the local taxi service and generally inexpensive. If you’re planning on using them for a ride to and/or from the Winery, we suggest setting it up in advance so you’re guaranteed a ride! Golf Carts - You can rent a golf cart to drive around Geneva. (Please note the winery is too far to take the golf cart.) However, you can easily drive it from your air BNB to our camp or anywhere in Geneva-on-the-lake you’d like to explore! You can also rent these through Sunset Taxi. https://sunsettaxis.com

Question

What are the plans for the weekend?

Answer

Thursday - There will be a short rehearsal/Dinner for the bridal party. Friday - Wedding Day!! There will be a short, standing only ceremony at 4pm, followed by the reception at 5pm. The reception will include dinner and a cash bar. Saturday - We are planning a cookout/party at our camp. We will be cooking out, playing yard games, music playing and having a good time. Everyone is welcome to come, kids included! Sunday - we will go to brunch. Location will depend on how many people are planning to attend, but it will be local. Kids included!! **PLEASE NOTE - there are a bunch of activities at the campground for kids! Pool, playgrounds, jump pad, fishing, mini golf (for a fee)**

Question

Do I have to stay the whole weekend?

Answer

Absolutely not! You don’t have to stay at all if you don’t want to!! The reception is over at 9:00pm so almost everyone would be able to make it home by 11:00pm. We will have plans the whole weekend for whoever is able to stay!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We adore our nieces and nephews (by blood and by friendship!) But for this celebration, we kindly ask that the ceremony and reception be adults only. There will be plenty of time throughout the weekend to celebrate with the little ones!
