Question

Are masks required? Will masks be provided?

Answer

Love is contagious. Unfortunately, so is COVID. If you are not fully vaccinated, please wear a mask. While not required for fully vaccinated individuals, we encourage you to wear a mask anyway. Please be considerate of those who may be at higher risk than others; we would like everyone in attendance to be safe. Help us slow the spread. You may wish to bring your own mask, but we will have plenty of masks in the event you forget yours at home!

Will the catering and venue staff wear masks? Does the CBG have sanitizing stations?

Answer

Yes, the catering staff will wear masks. CBG staff members are required to wear masks indoors, as masks are mandatory during regular business hours. The CBG will have sanitizing stations available.

Will the anniversary celebration be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the cocktail hour will be held outdoors. Dinner and dancing will be indoors (though guests will have the opportunity to explore the entirety of the gardens). We advise you to bring a sweater or jacket, as autumn weather (and thermostats) can be somewhat unpredictable at times!

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The RVSP deadline is September 30th. Please mail back the RSVP card at the bottom of your invitation. It has already been addressed and stamped for your convenience; you only need to write your name(s) and select your dinner option(s).

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, please. However, we also want you to be comfortable. Wear whatever outfit you feel best in!

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Yes! One of our meal options is vegetarian/vegan friendly (the grilled avocado above). All entree options are gluten-free. Please let us know your dietary restrictions as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate you accordingly.

Are the cocktail hour and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Both locations at the Botanical Garden are wheelchair accessible.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

There will be appetizers available during the cocktail hour and dinner will be served during the reception. Dinner options: Braised short rib - served with truffle whipped potatoes and heirloom carrots; Lemon thyme marinated airline chicken - served with herb-roasted redskin potatoes; Grilled avocado stuffed with green curry chickpeas - served over jasmine rice.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you are unable to attend our anniversary celebration, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
