We met through a mutual best friend on our shared birthday and then on our mutual friend’s birthday. We went out later that night and we’ve barely ever been apart since that moment... the rest is history 💗

Kareem had my sister to get us reservations on the Volunteer Princess, which is a Riverboat Cruise in Knoxville that she works at as a server, and that’s where we had lunch and I got proposed to! The views, atmosphere, and food was everything I dreamed of. It was nothing short of perfect having my family and friends there for me and to say I was shocked and surprised is an understatement. It was just one shock after another..in the best way. There were tears, smiles, and disbelief. I’m so excited to spend forever with my soulmate—to share life and love forever. It was an amazingly perfect day that will always be dear to me and I want to thank everyone involved for making this day so complete and special. Sidenote: I showed Leo my ring and he starts looking at his fingers and crying because he was wondering where his was. He said “Ring, ring, ring?!” while he was looking at his fingers. Kareem said we’ll get you one and then he was fine—hahaha.

Kareem chiese a mia sorella di prenotare posti alla Volunteer Princess, uno yacht usato per piccole crociere pluviali a Knoxville dove mia sorella faceva la cameriera. Qui' e' dove tutto prese atto! Tra il panorama, l' atmosfera ed i piatti proposti era come essere in un sogno. Tutto era niente di meno che perfetto e specialmente per il fatto che i miei genitori e le migliori amiche fossero li a testimoniare tutto. Vi mentirei se dicessi che non sono rimasta scioccata e sorpesa. Quel giorno fu' pieno di emozioni tra lacrime e sorrisi e non vedo l'ora di poter passare il mio eterno con la mia anima gemella. Quella giornata rimarra' con me per sempre e vorrei ringraziare tutti coloro che vi hanno partecipato da vicino o da lontano. PS: Quando ho mostratto l'anello di Fidanzamento a Leonado la sua immediata reazione fu' di controllarsi le dita. Subito dopo comincio' a frignare andando in giro chiedendo dove fosse il suo anello. Kareem lo rincuoro' dicendogli che gli avrebbe preso uno anche per lui. E semplicemente cosi' ritorno' il ciel sereno.
