Justin and Elizabeth met at their basement crash-pad in Dayton, OH, while both were working for PSA Airlines. Justin was a First Officer and Elizabeth had just finished flight attendant training. They instantly shared interests in travel and drinking cocktails while watching true crime documentaries.

They had their first date in Charlotte, NC, and have been together ever since. Elizabeth did not even know it was an official date, since they had been spending lots of time together as friends.

Justin and Elizabeth moved into their first apartment together near Dallas after Elizabeth transferred from Miami as a flight attendant for American Airlines. Justin soon became a captain for PSA Airlines.

We moved to Pflugerville, just north of Austin, TX! It was a major milestone for both of us. Elizabeth left the airlines. Justin joined United Airlines after the pandemic.

Justin proposed on April 1, the seven-year anniversary of our first trip to Elizabeth's hometown, Washington, DC. He “popped the question” in front of one of our favorite places, the Jefferson Memorial, during Cherry Blossom season. Elizabeth said, “Of course!”
