When I was in the X-ray program, I met a X-ray Tech that got on my nerves! Throughout the program I had different clinic sites I had to go to and somehow this tech just happened to work at both sites. Through my difficult time losing mom, while going to school, that X-ray Tech, Justin Long became a friend. He claims he fell in love with me at first sight. We were not allowed to date while I was in school so we waited till the end of my school program to go on a date. After that first date we had, I knew he was the one.
Justin and I had rented a house with my family in North Carolina to visit my sister, Heather, for my niece, Phoenix’s birthday. One day, spent at this beautiful house, Justin pulled Heather aside telling her his plan. He asked her if she would announce that she wanted to take family photos. After Heather told us about what she wanted to do, we all got dressed, ready, and headed outside. In between multiple photos, Justin said he wanted to jump on my back for a silly photo. As I was standing there, crouched down, waiting for the jump, my Dad said “Wait! Don’t jump that far”! Me, being confused I turned around and there he was on his knee with the most beautiful ring. He said “Elizabeth Broxton, will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me.” Of course I said “YES!”
