Our Love Story

I was decorating the St. Aloysius Chapel for the youth Adoration hour. I wasn't expecting anyone until 7pm but at 6:30 the door opened and in walked Joshua and a child. I only knew his name through my mother. They sat down in a pew and I continued putting candles around the chapel. The child came up to me and asked if he could help me I said yes and asked his name, gave him some candles and he went to work. One of the candles I had placed was not lighting and so I left it. Joshua came up to me to tell me it wasn't lit and we began speaking. Immediately we hit it off! It was like in those romance movies where you see them and just know they are the one. The Adoration hour started and I had sat in the back to welcome the youth and be helpful, they both had sat in the middleish pew and Jaxson sneezed so Joshua walked him to the bathroom (near my seat) to wash his hands. When they were walking back Joshua asked me to sit with them. I agreed and sat down in the pew. Jaxson drew me a picture of us three together. After the hour had ended we walked outside and had a snow ball fight with Jaxson. Joshua wanted to ask for my number but I had hurried off to meet the youth group to help lead their after Adoration hour activity. Two days passed and my mother came home delivering me with flowers and a card from Joshua asking me on a date. I messaged him and immediately we began talking on the phone everyday for a week until our date. He arrived at my house and I opened the door; he was shocked. He says I blew him away. He greeted my father and mother and we left for a wonderful Italian dinner and than a movie. This sparked a wonderful year full of love and adventure together, here's to many more.
